Pre-Arrival email: November 6, 2019
Decision made: November 7, 2019
Passport request: November 15, 2019

Alhamdolilah my spousal sponsorship process completed in 8.5 months. Here's my timeline:

March 1st 2019: Application started processing at Sydney
9th April: Biometrics request letter
11th April: Medical request letter
23rd April: Background check completed
1st May: Medical passed
15th Oct: File forwarded to LVO
18th Oct: File received at LVO (AOR2)
1st Nov: Eligibility review completed
1st Nov: Pre-arrival letter received
6th Nov: Decision made (ECAS)
8th Nov: Passport Request (PPR) letter received
12th Nov: Passport sent
15th Nov : Passport received with visa

Additional info: I am on PR living in GTA and applied myself to sponsor my wife from Pakistan. No additional documents requested nor any interview.

So you didn't get a request to submit a new police certificate? Because they have a validity of 6 months max I guess.

they will ask you to do rememdical once your background check clears to issue you visa so you have to wait for there instructions

visa is valid till the expiry of medical as the expiry date will be clearly mentioned on visa and COPR document

I ordered my notes back in September 2019 for my husband's application. Last update was "case held as per back office"
