No update for a long time ? From your time line it looks like you got updates last month. NO that doesnt sound like a rejection. It means once the final review is done thye will let you know th out come . may be a decision made , additionalt document request , an interview. It can be anything.

Hi All,

My Spouse application was received on January 4, 2019, and there is no update on it for a long time. So I sent a mail to NDVO, and below is the response that I got,

"This application is currently pending review by Visa Officer, after which we will contact to advise the outcome of the review and any next steps."

Has anyone received any response like this? Does this sounds like rejection?

Below is my timeline

Application Received Date: January 4, 2019
Medical Test Completed: March 15, 2019
Date of Biometrics Enrolment: April 9, 2019
File Transferred to New Delhi Visa Office: August 20, 2019
Moved to Inprogress : Sept 3,2019

Medical received March. 1.2019
Applications moved to ndvo may.16.2109
Ask for additional document may.29.2019
Interview August 29 2019
Ask for additional document again

Diverse certificate. My marriage photos. And marriage certificate.thats all

Ladies and Gentleman! Apologies for the long wait. I am finally back from India and so is my spouse! We received the Pre-arrival on 10/05/19. The PPR came on 10/10/19 but spouse did not see the email because it was in spam!! Always look in spam!! We submitted passport in Jalandhar on 10/15/2019. We received the passport back with the visa on 10/22/2019. It took a total of 218 days from receipt of Application to finally receiving the visa. So glad this is behind us now. Wish everyone the best of luck. If anyone has questions please feel free to ask, I will do my best to answer!

Check the spam mail in your email account or your spouse's email. They send the PPR the following Monday, usually. Another member on this forum had advised me the same, but I kept looking in my email account. It ended up in my spouse's account. It is most definitely sitting in your spam mail if they have sent it.
