Hey Guys my dad is trying to get PCC from Iran embassy in Delhi as he worked in Iran 40 years ago, the thing is Iran is not accepting the file as they want ink fingerprints and photo done and attested by Indian Police, my dad went to Indian police, they said we require a request in written as usually we do this for criminals, my dad again wen to Iran embassy and asked for written instructions, the person over there said nothing in written is provided,
Please let us know what to do as we are stuck

Did the letter from CIC ask specifically about PCC from Iran?
If I were you, I will send PCC for last 10 years' residency and wait for further instructions from the case officer.

I am sure you are. Did they ever told you they have sent inquiry to province to confirm you have never received social assistance. Few of us who are stuck in process have been told province letter has been requested its been more than 90 days now and no response

Hey my dad lives in Saudi too, would you happen to know the process of applying a PCC in Riyadh?

No I have no idea , my parents got it from Saudi when they came but you dont have to provide PCC if your dad does not live in Riyadh anymore

The letter mentioned any country you stayed in more than 6 months, so my father had worked in Iran 41 years ago, so this means he has to get it by the language of the letter

Finally, the good news arrived in my inbox. The wait is over. I just received my PPR.

Please update my status to PPR received today. Nov 14, 2019.

I am still on the boat as I’ve to rearrange the visa stamping to NDVO as my mom is flying back to India tomorrow.

I hope I receive this rearrangement of visa stamping soon.
