Sorry, just want to rant. It has been more than a month since our file has been approved but up to now, we have not received the ready for visa email yet. On Monday, we confirmed via call that Ottawa made a mistake on our file and noted on file that they have received our passports for stamping, when in fact, we have not even received the rfv email yet, so there’s no way we will send our passports to them. The wait has just been making me anxious with sleepless nights and constantly thinking about what other horrible things may happen even after approval. Truly, prayers and patience is key in this whole process.

Is this a technical glitch or what?

seems too many people have recently experienced this change...

Well there was a scheduled update in the website on Tuesday, maybe this change is a part of the update. The 6 month timelines is anyway useless for people like us who are still waiting after 10 months.

Hi congrats
Actully i also got a adr of employment verification letters .i have a expericne of institute but managing director of institute is no more with us and institute is now closed so i provided a affidavit from my colleagues .will thay accept it i am cec inland candidate.
Yes ,you must submit an explanation letter too that why you didn’t provide in the first place itself .

what all documents you submitted initially?

I passed my remedicals 13 days ago, yet no PPR (Ottawa VO)......sigh
When was your first medical done? Am asking to figure out if it's a trend for them to ask for remed before your current med expired ?

I did mine on 27th Jan on the same day I submitted

05/12/2018 passed in March 2018, it was valid till 05/12/2019.
Check signature for timeline.

single applicants are last to be processed , you should guess why.
Not necessarily. Again, there is no clear cut approach as to how IRCC processes these applications. I have a lot of single friends whose files got approved before 6 months. In fact, one of them got PPR in April and was a Jan AOR applicant.

they might be residing in the US or uk, but in my circle and other chats , its clear that they process single applicant last. But never the less the average processing time for delayed (more than 6 months ) application seems to be 10 months now .

None of the above. They are all Nigerians residing in Nigeria. At the end of the day, IRCC does what IRCC wants.
