I understand how you are feeling I’m going through the same situation. I’m sure of lot of us waiting are, however, sadly there is nothing else that we can do except wait. I know that some decisions can be contingent on the PPR and I don’t know when will it come but I hope it magically comes soon for everyone.

U r not the only one whose application is being stalled 4 no clear reason even without having RR or SS , a lot of people are in the same boat like u , it’s just bad luck & the heavy traffic they have which led to a massive backlog
I totally understand & feel the same as u . I had a friend who applied at the same time with me , she called me last April when we were near the 6 months mark to ask me if I have got it because she hasn’t got it either , she was way less worried than me because she is already planning to move to Canada next year & only do soft landing this year . She had 0 knowledge about GCMS notes , web forms or calling IRCC , I told her about all of that to help her if she wanted to check where her application is standing, guess what?? 1 month later when she called to check on me , she has already got her COPR. On the other hand, I need it badly , was ready to travel on my last trimester & take the risk if I got it before my due date but still here waiting & my life is on hold too
It is ur choice to hire a lawyer if u wish but it will be a waste of money since u don’t have serious issues like misrepresentation or so. U just need to wait & follow up or just forget about it till it comes
I read ur timeline. If u have passed remedicals. Then i feel ppr is coming soon for u. In my case no remedical request yet. Hope for some good news soon. Just a matter of luck.
I think u r right. Better way is to stay away from everything for a while. I know inside that a lawyer can hardly do anything. I know this profession very well. But i have read somewhere about a writ of mandamus. But except that writ also it was just a way to give my mind an assurance that someone there looKing after my file. Rest i know u r absolutely right that barely anyone can do anything. So the best optuon is to stay away from all these forums. But its easy to say. Let c. Thank you so much for your wishes When is your aor, remed request will come soonest or they will extend your medicals. It is annoying when they don’t provide a timeline, one can’t keep waiting endlessly. Even not thinking about this is easier said than done with every passing day. Perhaps we’ve got to focus on our work/studies/ other areas of our lives...

Thanks for ur wishes. my aor is 2nd nov 2018. Medical expired22 nd oct. No remedical req. No extension yet. Obly one msg you dont need a medical exam.

After a long waiting or family spousal application, I was book for an interview in Accra Canada embassy, The VO expresses her unsatisfactory about our marriage and my wife is 25yrs older than me , I did explain our love commitment but she don’t look convinced, We used an immigration lawyer, after all she said , she took my passport and our marriage album and proof of communication, took my tel: and email , that’s I should expert a decision in 7 days , if I’m granted I will be contacted to pick up my passport, if I’m rejected my spouse will be contacted!
I’m currently afraid and haven’t eaten since the interview, I don’t know what’s is going to happen next ...
Any experience here pls helpppp a brother

Please elaborate more... So you got married after you applied for the EE? and you got married while you are still waiting for a decision?
Please we got married on 17th of January 2018 ..
And sent in application on 1st November 2018
I got the same reply today. I had emailed them yesterday.
It is so weird at times when I see people already in Canada who applied 6months back and here I am ..with 1yr and 3 weeks..and awaiting the review of an officer but nevertheless..everything does come to an end one day!
