Hey, Thanks for reply- I am bit confused with your 1st response. I have understanding that once nomination is received, need to create an express entry on IRCC website, and then get ITA. Are you saying with an approved nomination, there is another way to apply for PR? Most of cases I have heard, people have created Express entry post nomination and this has been mentioned on IRCC website as well. I might be wrong, can you please send me a link that indicates apply directly to IRCC without an express entry profile? Not sure you are referring to Paper based application?

I do not think you require work visa extension, already it's good for 2 years. Mine is expiring within 6 months, so in need of nomination at earliest.

Hi, Not all PNPs are for express entry. This forum, employer job offer stream from Ontario is NOT for express entry. Its paper based. So, you need to file for PR by courier. I have listed down advantages and disadvantages of this paper form previously in this forum, the obvious disadvantage being its slow.

Express Entry process
In the online Express Entry process, there are 2 ways to apply:

• If a province or territory sends you a “notification of interest” to your account, you contact them directly.

If you read all this forum, we have already talked about this topic. It was a bit confusing at first, but now it's clear, indeed in my nomination letter says:
"This letter confirms that you have been nominated for the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program. You must apply to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) using a paper application form. Please note this nomination is not valid for Express Entry."

It is not a Express Entry stream. Once you have your nomination, the application to PR is paper based no express entry linked

After getting a online nomination email, If you enter the nomination number in your Express Entry profile and save it, you just decreased the life span of your mouse. Thats about it. . You will get 0 additional points because this is not a Express Entry nomination. You can file for PR only using paper based, manual method, within 6 months. I know its heart breaking, but that is the truth !

Get ready for another heart break.. 15 to 19 months as per the ICC website. Eventually you will get it if everything is good. but will take time.
