These communities live up to their names and are indeed "Rural" :D
They are supposed to start accepting applicants today, but still there is no information on how to apply.

Some of these communities told that their program starts running from November 1st but doesn't mean they have to start accepting candidates at the same time. Some said they will start not later than 30th November, while some said the eligibility requirements would be available in November, but there would start recommending candidates in December.

Due to the requirements of the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot Project, we are not able to accept applicants until later in November, 2019. During the summer period we are more than happy to answer any questions you may have about Sault Ste. Marie and our employers. Should you have any questions about the City or the RNIPP please reach us at labourforce@cityssm.on.ca

My point exactly

Most communities are delaying this.

' Brandon Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot eligibility and evaluation criteria is under development. Brandon eligibility requirements, evaluation criteria, information package and application form will be available online no later than November 30th, 2019 at economicdevelopmentbrandon.com/BrandonRNIP. Don’t think people have realistic expectations on what kind of jobs are needed. Getting someone to do admin would likely be an easy job to fill with the current residents.

This RNIP looks tedious...very stressful. I haven't seen any straight forward process so far.

You never know. Saskatchewan recently made it possible to almost everyone to apply and even without a job offer

My thoughts exactly. Those communities have like 100,000 population at most, yet they can't figure out what they need and how to do it.

But we are talking about the northern and rural program who is targeting certain professions to attempt to retain these people. If they only admit software developers, accountants, dentists, etc. people won’t find jobs and the communities won’t retain the immigrants.
