There's a cap. 2750 for HCCP and 2750 for HSW. That will be for each year. So you can apply until the cap has been reached

Yes there is a cap. but this is not sure if they will stop accepting new applications after reaching the cap or they will keep accepting the applications but will pick next 5500 next year.

I doubt that. When I applied for parent/grandparent sponsorship, they returned my application since they already reached the cap. I was told to reapply the following year

ok.. so most likely they will return the application if the cap is reached. But as of now, there is no indication if the cap is reached. Let's see..

I haven't heard of anyone's application being returned due to cap being reached. And there's no announcement in their website that cap has been reached

Hi guys! I received confirmation email from CPCE that they already received my application. However, further information was required..they requested me to submit again IMM 5669 Schedule A – Background/Declaration because they said that I did not complete the form. They also requested me to pay for my work permit application (I realized I actually forgot to pay for the work permit fee, I only paid for the caregiver fees). May I know how much have you paid for the work permit fee? I was confused because in the email sent to me it stated that I need to pay 225 CAD but I can't find it on the payment section online. The work permit fee is 155 CAD and the open work permit holder fee is 100 CAD which means it is 255 CAD. Please help me...

Good to hear they got your application already. When did you submit it?
If I were you, if it says 255 on the website, then just pay $255.

Thanks for ur response..I submitted my application last September 09, 2019. Received the confirmation email from CPCE last Oct 23, 2019. No Bio-metrics Instruction Letter yet.
