Hello All


I had applied for my study visa for January 2020 Intake under SDS category. I have submitted by file on 8th October 2019 And my biometric was done on 17th October. Now I had No update in my GC Portal. Is there anyone who had applied visa nearer to my date? As I need to ask the estimated Processing time.

Gave my biometrics on 22nd

The average processing time for SDS is 20 calendar days after submitting your biometrics.

I applied on Oct 16th, biometrics updated and medical exam passed on Oct 18th.

I applied for visa under sds on 5 October and I gave biometrics on 10 October till now no update.

Now What is your current status ?

Background check started Oct 18th, still pending. Eligibility review hasn't started yet. I would probably have to wait another week or two before expecting an update.

Hi there, I applied my visa application online on 27th Nov and gave Bio metrics by 2nd Dec.
No further info has been received. No indication for reviewing eligibility. Background check in progress. No additional documents needed.
Course starting from Jan 8, 2020. Waiting for approval confirmation from IRCC to book my flight tickets. Anyone during this timeline?

My friend is having same timeline as you.. And he's also waiting for visa.. I'll let you know about any update on his visa process..
