Pre-arrival letter received today whats next?

Hi everyone,

INLAND applicant here! PAPER-BASED APPLICATION.

I just received my pre arrival letter today.

I am a ontario provincial nominee- under job offer foreign stream.

AR - Feb 04, 2019
AOR - April 11, 2019
Pre-arrival letter - October 5, 2019
Whats next? PPR?

Note: I currently have a closed work permit which I only got last january 2019. By the time that I'm applying for closed work permit, some of the requirements I had to submit are medical and PCC, on which that might be the reason why I didn't received any medical request and PCC prior to this pre-arrival email I received This morning. (I just assume what I've said, that's the only conclusion I came out after thinking about it, I'm no expert just want to share my experience)

Currently, On my cic account it still shows 10 months remaining based on the estimated pr application timeline.
Are there cases people who applied under papaer bases received their PR faster than the assumed timeline?


Question is, should I be happy now because the next update will be PPR? If anyone happen to be the in the same situation, please share your timeline... how long did it take to receive PPR?

Hi,

No. Not yet. I'm only at my 15 days after receiving my Pre - arrival letter.
Also, my medical is not passed too.

Maybe I have to wait for another month. If there's no update, I'm going to call them.

How about you, what's the current status of your application?

Got pal on 21 aug 2019
Called them few time they say security pending.
It’s always good to call and ask what’s the current status they know more.
I think you should call.

Yeah. I'll try calling them :) thanks you for responding... Hope we get our PPR soon....

Hello guys,

I have a question about the PAL.
As I my immigration representative is handling my file, I'm not able to link my paper application to my online account. I must remove him from my file to link my application. Do you think I will receive the PAL by mail?

Your lawyer will email it to you.
Simplest way to find out something is to call them.

Medical Passed : Sept 27th 2019
Pre-Arrival letter : Oct 4th 2019
