Sept and

Sept & Oct has been really brutal. Thanks for the heads up! Hope you receive some update soon!

Very brutal, no one got PPR, I think I only saw 1 PPR coming out of Manila on this forum... Hm, I wonder if they cater to agencies first? Most people that use agencies are not here. It's impossible that they did not give out PPR's in the last 2 months.

May nag advise to apply for TRV muna then live for 1 yr as common law. Same sex conjugal sponsorship po sana kami. If TRV po, makakapagwork po ba ako? And once there, magpapa extend lang ng TRV? Thanks po sa sasagot :)

The forum has been quiet but my wife has seen PPR's coming through the Facebook forum. There have not been many, 2 yesterday that were submitted in March and April this year, and last week there were 2 one from October 2018 and December 2018. None were agencies. It is just very freaking sloooooowwwww.

As for your TRV/Common-Law or Same Sex conjugal Sponsorship I have seen you have posted this request a few times. A TRV would be challenging and then to hope to it is open for a year and if not to retry to get it extended. Try to apply now, if they say no it does not affect your PR application, just be prepared for a no on the TRV. You would get an answer in weeks. If turned down start your PR application.

I believe they don’t cater to agencies first. One of my friends let an agency take care of his sponsorship. While. my co-worker did everything by herself. They received the approval a couple weeks over the other and that’s exactly the time difference when they submitted their papers. Both of them are from Calgary.

I honestly don’t understand what’s taking the process this long when in fact, most of the papers that goes to Mississauga gets approval in a matter of 3-5 months. I really hope they’d give us a DM soon. Cross fingers here!

Processing of my spouse papers started last January 2019. Still waiting huh... Today is the election day here in Canada... Hopefully after the election there will be updates with our papers...

Good news for me!
Just received email for PPR. But I do have a question, since my child is in the Philippines and is a minor, do you guys think it would be okay that I will give an authorization letter to another person to sign the Appendix B for me? (Applying for Dependent Sponsorship - child is 14 yo)
