Just got an e-mail from the visa office asking for proof of return to Canada by e-mail. I was sure I sent it through webform when I moved, but I guess they never got anything.

Hoping this is the last of documents I have to send, but it's looking good I think.

No offense taken. But since you asked I answered and for sure they are overworked and understaffed.

Have you tried ordering notes ? Usually that gives you a clear picture of what is happening . I have to be honest and tell you that the email option is fine but don’t expect anything more than 1. We are processing you app keep correspondence to a minimum or 2. Your application in is queue for interview , keep correspondence to a minimum .
Now that I am over 13 months I do email to follow up on the not scheduled interview date , however I am limiting it to once a month now . I know the wait can be frustrating , but hang in there

Have you tried ordering notes ? Usually that gives you a clear picture of what is happening . I have to be honest and tell you that the email option is fine but don’t expect anything more than 1. I just did my first official webform for a "where are we at" query. I pointed out that it has been a bit more than a year, and also that GC Key and eCAS were not options for me as they have not been updated for a very long time. I also ordered notes but don't expect those until November. We'll see what I get back, but I agree that we need to keep correspondence to a minimum.
I truly wish we didn't have to wait so long to get a date for the interview. That is the hardest part for us right now - we can't plan Christmas travel or anything (as we need to budget several trips and space them out a bit!) until we know dates. C'est la vie.

Idk, I went months without hearing anything from them, then when I started sending them one webform per week I got pre arrival very soon after. Could have been a coincidence, or maybe they just got tired of answering to me lol

I ordered notes in July and never received them. I received email saying they are behind yet still have not received them.

I have never emailed Mexico since my transfer only for the updated the police report they requested. Exactly every one is entitled to their opinions and I am certainly not offended by anyone thoughts as it certainly is not my fault that Mexico is a very slow office but we all have the right to know what is going on with our loved ones application.

I truly hope you get an answer soon about an interview or anything the silence is certainly hard but I am over 100% sure eventually we will be with our loved ones and look back at this as a minor blimp in an amazing future with our husbands/wives.

I hear ya ! Christmas travel is on hold at the moment . I ordered notes sept 9 and still not received lol

It’s absolutely absurd , I work in a privacy department for medical records and I swear if I ever missed a deadline without letting the “paying customer” know I would be fired . This is why I laugh because I complain , you complain everyone complains but they are not held accountable. I have never received notes in the 31 days , and never received a reason why . So now I laugh about it because it’s that ridiculous
