Hello guys
I am thinking to apply for spouse open work permit. My husband is living in India and I am living in Canada on post graduate work permit.
The thing is we got married just 4 months ago in Canada when my spouse came on visitor visa. I am attaching the documents and questions So please help me giving answers according to your experiences

Documents from my side
  1. My passport
  2. Work permit
  3. Post graduation degree
  4. Employment letter with Noc
  5. Pay stubs (3)
  6. Birth certificate
  7. Notice of assessment for tax returns
  8. Marriage certificate
  9. Some wedding pictures and outing pictures from Canada
  10. Bank statement of 3 months
Documents from spouse
  1. Passport
  2. Visitor visa
  3. Education degree
  4. Birth certificate
  5. Bank statements
  6. Income tax return
  7. Employment documents
So my questions are
  1. Is there any other documents do I need for application?
  2. Does it matters if we married in Canada as my spouse was on visitor visa? And it’s just 4 months for our marriage?
  3. How many funds we need to show?
  4. I have joined my job recently one month ago. Does this matter?
  5. And our relationship is 8 years old. How can I prove because I don’t have any pictures or chat logs from that old time. But I have some photos since two years.
  6. Can anyone tell me what should be write in Statement of purpose.
Thanks in advance. Please help

Did you have a wedding that would be expected given your religion and culture? Did you ever live together? Are you having another ceremony?

No we did court marriage. But my parents were in the ceremony. We were just 4 people in the ceremony.
And I have marriage certificate from Canada.
Yes we live together when he came on visitor visa.
No I don’t have any other ceremony

Would court marriage with just your parents be typical based on your culture and religion?

Your posts don’t make sense. You said that you got married in Canada while he was a visitor and now you are saying you got married in India. The small court wedding may be an issue if this is atypical. Marriages have been refused if CIC thinks you did a court marriage to get a visa faster and may have a traditional ceremony later on.

How do you have 3 pay stubs if you have only been working for 1 months? Skilled jobs are rarely paid weekly in Canada and there may be a delay in receiving your first pay stub. You can look at the checklist when it comes to what documents are needed.

What if our relation is 8 years old? How Marriages have been refused if we have marriage certificate from canada and it is registered in canada.
And i did not say that i did marriage in India. I said i did marriage in canada not like Indian tradition wedding.

For the pay stubs issue, i did not apply yet, i have to apply thats why i am asking queries before applying.

Please see my first post so that you clearly understand
Thanks

“No we dint do like that we did in our home country.” Sorry but I interpreted this as we got married in our home country. To be fair it was very unclear. Any couple can be approved for a marriage whether they are a genuine couple or not. You will have to show your relationship history but a court marriage with only one set of parents is extremely unusual for an Indian couple. A marriage certificate doesn’t actually guarantee a genuine marriage. As I mentioned before CIC has seen that many couples do a court marriage to try and apply for a permit or visa as soon as possible and then have a more traditional wedding later that year or the next year. When people don’t have the expected wedding ceremony without a valid reason it raises suspicions.

I am just warning you that your choice of court marriage with one set of parents is very unusual and could create concerns. If concerns are raised you know why. I would go into detail about why you didn’t have a more traditional wedding in India or at least with both sets of parents and more family.
