Hi everyone...quick question. I'm part of the batch of early August applications and I was able to login to the ECAS web portal. It says that the application is in process as of Oct 8th. I still have not received the AOR though.

Does this mean that all my application materials are complete? Is it common for it to be listed as In Process in the ECAS before getting the AOR? Does this mean we should get the AOR soon?

If your status is in process I suggest you to call CIC toll free and ask representative to check your status and if they give your file number ask them to request cpc to send AOR to you then you will get it to your email I got the same way

Hey guys, I just received my SA, sponsor approval, and the UCI# is different, should I link this to my CIC account as well?
Should i link it to the same account where the PA application is or will that cause harm thank you!

Hi,

A quick question. My spouse gave biometrics as part of visitor visa initiated this year. During payment for PR I didnt pay for biometrics, since my spouse biometerics were valid for another 10+years. Just an hour ago I received mail to pay biometrics fee.

Should I proceed and pay? (during initial payment it was strictly said not to pay extra money and there was a link to chcek biometrics validity)
Or call CIC first to chcek on this?

Its not about payment, I dont wnat to cause more delay in processing, please assist.

Hey May I know what credential did you enter into ECAS that reveal your application in process. ? did you selected client ID number or receipt # ? and rest sponsor's detail ? Also what date your application was received at CIC and office address. ?

may I know what date your application received at CIC, and what credentials your enter into ECAS to reveal the "In process" status, also what office you sent your application to. ?

As per this guide, it recommends to not use the Sponor's UCI(https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/how-to-link-an-application-to-cic-account-step-by-step-instruction.619724/)

you link by other means as well - I used PA's name, DOB, City and Country or Birth...hope this helps

Being 1 of those people in the first 2 weeks of Aug app's we are all hoping we get out AOR's soon too, it has been a frustrating experience having been left behind while people after us have been getting their app's processed. Hopefully they will process ours ASAP and things can get back to the normal process that CIC itself says that they follow. Hope you get your quickly as well, that is after ours though.

Hi, I got the email of file moved to visa office. I think everyone has their timeline. Sorry, I did not wait until next week to contact them. So... I get mine. Fingers crossed for my application further processing. Good luck for each applicant here as well.
