Does anyone know if London visa office is open and processing files now? There were rumours that in July they would start but it seems like no one I see getting updates

Yes it seems like files will exceed a year :( I just hope the delay is a matter of only a few months and not years..

I cannot help but be angry with the fact that stores, malls, and everything is going back to normal but there is no sign of spousal sponsorship files being processed. How is family reunification not essential? Canada's immigration process already makes us wait a year, now who knows how much...

So true. In my opinion London Visa Office is the absolute worst. I’ve seen so many other Visa Offices that process cases fairly and in a timely manner. Even I think now some visa offices are open but London of course isn’t :confused:I’ve been waiting for two years also :( I hope this wait ends...

I really hope so! But I still wonder if it will help me because my file is in London Visa Office currently. So I guess the processing of my file depends on when London eases restrictions :(
