Guys, how long after Biometrics are done should it show up on MyCIC? Sorry, I can't access the tracker.
My mom did her biometrics on Sept 30th, on MyCIC it says "We have not received your fingerprints. Check your biometrics request message below for details?... (There's no message other than the original letter requesting biometrics).
I thought biometrics show up right away after being done.
Thanks in advance.
Ours updated the next day.

Hello
I would like to know if anyone in this group went to United states for Biometrics, because I have been advised by CIC that entry to US may be denied if the sole purpose to visit US is Biometrics, and also if there is anyone here who applied a US visa on the basis to visit USCIS for Biometrics.
Please advise. Thank you

Has anyone applied for Indian PCC from BLS Calgary ?
The process seems to be little different than Toronto.
As it does not give any option in the checklist for visitors, also the processing time is 4-6 weeks.

Is it possible for a police officer (dad’s brother) to get it from India from passport office on behalf of my dad and mom?
I think its pretty easy for him to get it from SSP office, but i don’t know if those are accepted anymore or not?

It’s true. You must intend to visit US for other purposes and just happen to get the biometrics done at the same time.

Hey everyone,

I applied for my parents PR this year but haven't really kept track. Wondering how I can check the status of their application?

Usually, I would use the link https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do

However, when I enter my client id and fill in my details, system says there is no application in progress. Am I doing something wrong.

My parents have visited Canada multiple times so not sure if they have a Client ID of their own based on the visitor visa and if I need to enter those details to check the application status. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Received on May 24th. However, I received an email from CIC on August 8th that one of the forms needs to be resubmitted. They gave us 30 days to submit the form and we did it within the timeframe. I am in no real hurry to get the PGP application completed. Just curious to know how/where to check the status of the application.

It depends when you sent your application. You can use the following link to get an idea about timelines for PGP 2019:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1AqTuXZrYG6sg4UHpHBEaMbWTgbHtvxzWYedaojGh0bg/edit#gid=945174368

Their client ID is the eight-digit number on the bottom right of the visitor visa page.

Hi,
I had a question regarding the status tracking of my PGP application. I had my parents' application submitted in Ottawa on Jun 21st. Also, I did not add myself as a representative but in the application I have mentioned mine and my fathers' email IDs. So my question is, how will we know about the progress of the application? Will my father get an email with the AOR and the file number or will it be a normal mail to their postal address in India.

It's too early to check for applications received at the end of June. Please take a look here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1AqTuXZrYG6sg4UHpHBEaMbWTgbHtvxzWYedaojGh0bg/edit#gid=945174368
To track the progress of your application you can:
Check eCAS: https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do
Create an online account on the IRCC website and link your application

AOR for sponsorship application should come on sponsor's email address if provided.

Yes I applied last week in Calgary BLS. Got it today in mail. They will need your documents as proof of address, passport copies yours and your parents. It's pretty easy here
