If you have open ADR, try to fulfill that first. You won't get GCMS notes in time to action basis that.... So try submtting ADR as soon as possible to best possible extent
Hey, I've submitted the required additional document within the time limit they have provided. It is currently under review. Atleast that's what my account says. But the wait is getting to me :(

Always so elated to hear of progress from CB01126.. thanks and have a great life in Canada! Hopefully the rest of us aren't too far behind :) My AOR is just one week ahead of yours, stuck with the same officer.. Your experience gives me some much needed respite!

Quoting you from the past:

Hope that comes relatively true ;)
Same here good to see movement of file with CB01126. I wish ours will get picked together

Hello,

This is my first time here and so looking for some help/guidance. Apologies since I don't know all the acronyms. I got my AOR on January 24 (had submitted my APR on the same day). I am based in the US on work visa in case that is relevant. I still haven't received any approval or denial but got a "Request letter" in MyCIC today for Proof of Funds. The letter said that my financial documents didn't show adequate funds for our family of 3 (short by 3-4k CAD) as they were deducting my entire outstanding student loan from the balance in my accounts. I did not know they would do that. I have to submit POF within 30 days and I will be submitting in a couple of weeks. Have a few questions and would really appreciate the group's guidance:
1. Is this "Request letter" same as ADR or RR that are mentioned in this group
2. How long typically after I submit additional documents, would they typically respond/give decision
3. I realized my passport expires in April 2020. Do you think they'll ask me to renew before giving a decision?
4. If approved for PPR, how long would I have before I have to travel to Canada to get the PR card. I was part of the express entry draw in early December if that makes a difference
5. Also, I noticed here that people got re-medical requests. MyCIC says we passed the medical on March 6. But I don't know when it expires. Is there a typical medical expiration date?
Apologies for all these questions. Would be grateful for any help.
Thanks,
DJV
I hope showing some more thousands wouldnt be a problem. Is could be called ADR, however there has been times when they would request one Adr and once submitted and received by them they would ask for more.
2. It depends what u applied for, as u didnt mention ur timeline :)
3. It better to renew passport before they ask for it. For me after I submitted my application and got AOR i renewed it and gave a copy of my new passport, which ny lawyer uploaded online. This is better so that incase the decision is made, there should not be a reason as refusal because of passport expiration. Also it will save u time incase they ask for renewal, your process will be delayed.
4. Your COPR will give a date, u have to do landing before that date
5. Expiration of medical is for people who has done upfront medical. If u have done medical when they requested you, you should be fine.
I hope it helps :)

Thanks for your reply. A few more follow up questions pls:
1. Assuming the medical expires in 12 months (i.e. March 2020) and my passport expires in April 2020, if approved, would I still be able to travel on current passport. Asking as this would not have a lot of validity left if I travel in let's say Jan/Feb 2020.
2. Alternatively, would you recommend that I apply for passport renewal now and send over new passport details when I have them to CIC? Or would this further complicate the process?
3. Once they issue a CoPR, would it be possible to renew my passport then and send them the new passport information?
4. Is there a number I can call to check this information from CIC?
BIG THANKS AGAIN!
I strongly suggest do it before they are for it. Mine was expiring in. Oct 2020. But i still renewed it in July 2019 :)

Ho ho ho......people finally got the golden email. Will submitting my passport coming Monday.

Man.....last week 24th Sept. I received a update in profile asking to submit updated family information through form IMM5406. I submitted the same on 26th September.

Meanwhile I had also raised an webform on update on my profile movement. I received mail today morning saying that thank you for writting to CIC, they have sent a mail to me 30th September and I should check my inbox or spam. If still not received contact us by web form and we will send the mail again. As I will not receive any update in my account regarding this mail.

At first I thought they are referring to the update family thing. But as I checked my spam. There it was. Asking to submit the passport VFS.

Man finally the wait is over.

Looking at the speed I think they are up and running again.

You all should be hearing the good news soon.

Thanks to everyone for the support in the tough time.

See you guys on the other side.
Congratulations. Whats your vo??

Hey Tanu

Could you please let me know what is PFL?

Thanks.

I already told buddy its procedural fairness letter.. They have given you a fair chance to update funds before they refuse your file . They have done this under immigration law but not bound to do thay. So consider urself lucky and submit the updated funds . You will get ppr

Do not forget to put some line in letter if explanation related to your loan...in a nutshell you need to convince officer that you have required funds along with supported docs and a logical explanation on ur loan stating that its not effecting ur funds

AOR - 22nd Dec, ReMedical request September , done in 3rd week of September, yet to reflect.
Current Eligibility check status - In process, From GCMS notes it was "Recommend Passed"
Background check - In process.
