Canada citizenship requirement

Hi there,

I am a Permanent resident. Can I leave Canada permanently after completing 3 years citizenship requirement and apply for citizenship from overseas. Do I have to be living in Canada while citizenship application is being processed?

Well, under the current law, yes, you can do that. You just need to maintain the PR residence requirements, which should be easy to do...
