is it true that most of refugee claims from india gets rejected?
Yes because you have to prove that you have tried to relocate within your own country. With such a large country most people could relocate to another region. Also India is not at war and has a functional government versus other countries.

Lets say you tried to relocate and still there were problems,in punjab state the police has done so many wrong things to people , And if one does not have any evidence to prove but he is only saying that these things happened to him,
What are the chances then?

India has more than the Punjab state. Did he try to relocate to another region? As specified he needs to prove that his life is in danger not just in general. Has he been specifically targeted by the police. Does he have proof if he has been attacked, falsely imprisoned, etc?

What will be the option for him after rejection or he is completely out?
Can appeal which will also be rejected. Deportation will happen for sure after all options are exhausted. This will then mean that he may never be able to countries like the USA, Australia, UK, etc because his failed claim will tell those countries he might try the same and reject him for any kind of temporary visas.

How much time the appeal will take?
is it like it goes in processing and he will stay on work permit just like you r on wp during ur case processing?
