Its awful but it was their choice as a province, they apparently voted for that new immigration thing, they said something about CAQ on fb and how they know nothing about immigration.. So its not at the federal level at all. Its sad!

Wow , that’s just nuts ! I can’t even imagine . This year Mexico is so behind already . I am over a year as well , I can’t imagine how they must feel

With the Cubans now being processed there, its too much.
Corruption is prob why they want one location for all these countries though

Employees getting paid to give visas to people; happens a lot. I have seen people paying inside friends to get their visas for the US im pretty sure canada is no exemptions

But in the end the good honest people pay a price for these.
I know Its much easier for canada to control things via one VO but I prefer local VO’s things were much quicker!

Me and my husband will be living in Toronto but I am just feeling sad to hear this for the applicants who applied to Quebec It's really outrageous

I would understand a cap on general immigration, but not for family reunifications, that's brutal.

That’s what I thought too , I have been trying to find some legitimate info that this indeed affects the family stream but I can’t seem to find it . I feel really bad for all the quebec applications now on hold
