Hello everyone,

My application reached on 3rd June. Ecas was updated about 10 days ago and it shows the status - Application received. However, I have not received any email with AOR yet. Anyone in the same boat? I am a bit concerned as it seems June 3 applicants already received their AORs. Also, when I try to link my application in myCIC, it is not able to find the application information.
wait for AoR ( next Batch )

To link your application:
1)After you login to MyCIC, you click on Link App to this Account button. Choose Permanent Residence in category and Family Class (Parents & Grandparents) in sub-category. This will open all the required fields you will need to fill up.
2) In the passport section, enter the info as seen in the originally sent passport of PA. you can use passport # and date or place.
3) Match the city and province name you entered in the original application.
4) count # of Family member = [ Sponsor + if Cosigner ] do not count kids + [PA + if Dep]
5) open link to see more details.

It's been 11 days since the last batch of AoR came. No one from June got it yet.

This is your file no. I would recommend to wait for the AoR before contacting the CIC.

Hi Everyone,

Very specific question

PCC from Swiss, anyone had to get one ?

They give you the option to have it attested, but it takes longer (no digital copy ) and cost you more.
Of course when I called to the IRCC agente he didnt have a clue what I was talking about.

Anyone has had to get a Swiss PCC?

If yes, can you share your experiences?

I’ll need it from Spain for my parents and i saw on cic’s website that they say if its a digital copy then need the legalization.
But i will ask my parents to get it from Spain, which i believe won’t need to be attested.
I remember few years back, I got mine and never got it attested.
Also, I asked this on twitter and they said only translation is required.

So, i think it would be same for Swiss. Check the details on cic’s page for country specific requirements.

Hello everyone,

I received AOR on September 16th. At the time of submission of the application, my parents were in Canada on tourist visa. However, they went back to India in the first week of September. Now that I have the AOR, do I need to update their residential address to India? Earlier it was Canada.

What is your visa processing in AOR? Mississauga or Delhi?

ideally you should update the "current" home address..
