Medical Instructions Received - May 30, 2019
Sponsor Eligiblity passed - May 30, 2019
Medical done - June 6, 2019
Biometric Done - June 18, 2019
Confirmation of file processing started - Sep 16, 2019
Passport Submission - ?
How long will it take for them to send passport submission for visa letter.

what do u mean by confirmation of file processing started? did u get an email or an update line on ecas?

Yeah, that's strange. I haven't seen any updates on my ECAS since I got the additional doc request!!

You can share copies of Bills, joint account statements, pictures along with whatever chat you have as proof of communication and write an LOE to explain all this.

Any update for people who has already completed their medicals and biometrics before file transfer to AVo? Also does any April applicant have any update from AVo? Thank you in advance for your response(s)

Just called up CIC... Representative stated that the secondary office is updated as NDVO and both the primary office in Canada and NDVO are working together to process the application... he further added that the physical file is still in Canada and 'NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS'...

Does this mean that the file has been transferred over to NDVO??? I haven't received any correspondence of file transfer to Mississauga or NDVO

If your PA ECAS status has the line added "#Started processing the application" then it means they are working on your file, if not your file is sitting at Sydney office and yet to be opened.
Mostly it is waiting to be transferred to VO.

Hello! So, is this the case even if you're finished the medical and biometrics? Just wondering because my husband has done both and when I called cic they said my file was still in Sydney.

Yes.
The application status will be have a status of "processing started" after your file gets transferred to a VO.
I am on the same boat as you. :|
