I’m also a Quebec applicant and will hit my one year mark this October. Still haven’t received our medical request. As far as I know, after the one year mark we can contact our MP; however, I think we can also request GCMS notes for further details.

This is not normal as per my knowledge everyone get ther medical request with in 5 month from application submitted send visa office to email and also webform inquiry too

Yes, I have linked my application. Thank you for your help. My status says that they are reviewing my eligibility and procesing background check. Medical passed on 8th September and It also statses that No need of additional documents? What doee this mean? or will they ask for additional docs in future? Is my background check started? Please advise

Thanks Yoge for the suggestion! I will do that actually. I sent an email to the Colombo Visa Office, but they replied with an automatic message saying that our application is in queue.

i think they will process your background check now . did you get any pre-arrival service invitation letter ?
whats your Estimated remaining processing time ?

No not yet, When Can I expect that and what it is that letter? Its says 6 months left

you already done medical and bio metric so now they will asses your eligibility and background check
just check every day your gc key if anything change it will good sign

case reopen july 2019 medical , new pcc , updated forms send aug 2019 , biometric done aug - 2019
now they are doing backround check more then 31 days
waiting for PPR email

Do you know if in such cases, where there is a delay without reason, whether we can hire an immigration lawyer to speed up the process or at least find out why there is a delay and proceed? Is that even an option? Anyone else have experience?
