Hi Guys,
I just heard back today from them asking me to pay the "Right of PR" fees. We didn't pay that when we applied. They also asked me to pay $85 for biometric fees. Didn't asked me to get the biometrics done (I already did it last year when I went to Canada as a Visitor) but asking to pay the fees? Is this normal?

Anyone know what the next step would be after paying my "Right to PR" fees?

I got an update yesterday asking me to pay my " Right of Permanent Residence " fees and my biometrics fees. That's about it. You should be not far along either. Hopefully you will hear back from them soon. Keep me posted.

Hi @Reshan !! Thank you for your update.. well the payments was done and the receipts was sent on my case already by sponsor . However I still didn't hear any emails for Biometrics.. how about your estimated time as per GCKey??

I believe it's a part and parcel of the process.. you are in the safe side. But my advise it to make it as early as possible to avoid delays.

bio metric fees request is good sign coz they are ready for doing your background check
background check is final stage before request PPR

maybe if you have more then 2 PCC or frequent traveler to many country
your background check take more time .

Is the foreign ministry attestation a must on the Marriage and birth certificates? When I went to the ministry for attestation, they took a copy of the English translation and attested as opposed to attesting the original English translation.
Is this an issue?

its not must but its gave some more weight for your documents . i did same way as you
i send original birthcertificate and attested , original birth certificate translate and attested
original marriage certificate and attested original marriage certificate translated and attested
passport bio page photocopy and attested NIC Photocopy and NIC Translated From NIC Department
and attested.
