Visitor Visa for Parents

HI I am International Student in Canada and would like to invite my parents to Canada as visitor to attend my convocation ceremony.

Kindly help me answer below questions.

1. For both father and mother do we need to create same account at CIC or it has to be separate account for each?

2. If separate then submitting application for both will be separate or together, kindly explain?

The site says that Family members must complete their own application forms. However, you may submit your applications together online or at a Visa Application Centre (VAC) and use one payment receipt for the total amount.

If online, it means you need to create one GCKey account. Your parents shares the account but your Father will be the main applicant. Both parents need to submit the TRV form. They can also indicate you as their representative.
