If it takes longer than a year and yours is NOT a non-routine application, you can also involve your MP and see if you can get any info through them. You can also order GCMS notes to see what's been going on with your application.I completed one year this August 31st and called them on Sept 3rd. They made a note and I was hoping that my file would now be expedited. Three weeks later, no updates. I called them again and they said the expedited ones after one year could take up to a month!
That is great - thank you for updating me. So excited for you, wishing you all the best.@littleun : Oath ceremony is at 11th Oct, 2019. Plz update the spreadsheet.
I suggest send them query through web portal, I received test invitation within 4-5 days of my query but it should be after 12 months not before that. I have received test invitation and web portal reply on same day. FYII completed one year this August 31st and called them on Sept 3rd. They made a note and I was hoping that my file would now be expedited. Three weeks later, no updates. I called them again and they said the expedited ones after one year could take up to a month!

Got invitation today Sep 26th through email to appear to write the test on October 15th at Scarborough.
Any idea how to prepare other than reading the book? I have read the book but wondering if there's any trial test that I can do to prepare.
All,
I just want to post an update for information. My husband - an October applicant had his interview yesterday, ahead of me as an August applicant. He was age exempt from the test. His interview was short and he was asked questions about whether he had a job, whether he had family in Canada and whether he is awaiting any police actions. In addition they asked about his physical presence absences. All was OK and he has been given his Oath Ceremony on Friday at the same location. He was handed a form to take to that event. He took more documents with him than he needed (just in case), like his latest police check etc but they were not needed. He was asked to show only his UK passport, his PR Card and on arriving he showed them his care card as entry ID. He was not asked for anything else. Others may have a different experience, for example I have mine this week and I may also have a different experience to my husband, it is all down to the officer on the day. I have posted this as I think it can be helpful to have as many examples as possible to help those still waiting. Good luck to all with your process, we are all cheering you on.
