Passed test in Scarbourough today with a score of 20/20. Interview very smooth and lasted 5 minutes. Officer said to wait for the oath.

Does anyone's file stuck because of finger prints not received by CIC, i even pass my test as well. i wrote CIC but no response since January 2019.
i submitted my file august 2018, got test request and finger print request on November 2018 BUT since then nothing is happening. i even asked them via CIC Web-form but no reply.

any help would be appreciated.

Hi ..
1). do you have DCN# for your fingerprints ?
2). Did you call the IRCC Call Center if IRCC received your FP result ? Otherwise, your fingerprints result might have been lost.

I was requested FP in July 2019. I did mine on 12-July-2019. RCMP said that they sent it on 18-Jul-2019. 2 months later, my local office said they haven’t received it.

I had to re-do it today . According to RCMP, if the CIT office didn’t receive it, the best way would be to redo it. Have RCMP send it to you . After you receive it, you send it directly to IRCC local office by registered mail.

No one can tell how long at this point..just a waiting game. Have u sent a webform to enquire since you are past the 1 year mark?

I agree with Mekima, you should send a web form. I have always had a reply after 5 working days advising me with an update. To me making an enquiry in writing via the webform seems more formal and it appears more difficult for CIC to just dismiss your concerns. I don't know if others have always received a response from their webform.

I completed one year this August 31st and called them on Sept 3rd. They made a note and I was hoping that my file would now be expedited. Three weeks later, no updates. I called them again and they said the expedited ones after one year could take up to a month!
