Hi All,
I hope seniors or people with experience in my case could guide me.

I was planning to invite my mother in-law to visit us for few months in Canada.

My mother in law is a widow and lives with my brother in-law and his family in a village. She has no income. We have transferred 3 lakh INR (6000 CAD) to her account recently.
Besides this there is no property in her name. That's why we cannot get Statement of Net Worth from the CA.

So, in terms of her documentation all we have is her passport, aadhar card, ration card, electricity bill and her bank statement showing 3 Lakh deposited last month.

What additional documentation from her side should we provide to increase chances of visitor visa application approval? I also read somewhere that we can get an affidavit from a local municipal officer (sarpanch) stating that he knows my mother in-law from x years and she resides in the village and has house, property and lives with her son and grandchildren. Has anyone does this kind of affidavit? Will this help?

Both me and my wife are working and have 6 figure income.

thanks

You have better chances at SuperVisa.

Don't apply for a TRV. It's easy to see that the INR 300,000 was recently transferred for the visa application. She does not have any ties to return to.

Were your parents approved for super visas in 2015?

Hi I am just wondering about your application for your mother in law were approved? I have a similar situation. I am planning to get my mom in my home country, I am her only child and I am the one supporting her. She doesnt have job pensions nor properties under her name...

Yes. My mother in law's visitor visa was approved for 10 years.

What I did was attached an affidavit from local sarpanch stating that she had been living at the address for past 35 years and had relatives living nearby and a house (which was under her husband's name). Also the

Can you elaborate more on this?

Did you only provide the bank balance certificate? No statements?

I have a similar case where I will be transferring funds to my mothers account and will get a bank balance certificate, since she has no income.

What documents did you submit?

Hi everyone. I am in a weird situation. I apply for my mother’s TRV from my home country in July and It got rejected. Now I applied for her TRV online and upload the same bank statement that is two months old. It has only few transactionsas it was very new account.
Would it be a problem that the statement is two months old?
Any response will be appreciated!!!!

Why was it rejected the first time? Did u send only balance confirmation letter? Or bank statement with a recent large deposit?

No I send bank statement with that large deposit of about 5 lac. And the reason for rejection were:
1. Financial support
2. Family ties (my agent only put my father and brother sisters in family info. But this time I put my mother’s brother and sisters too in the application.
3. They don’t believe she will come back.
I applied for her as my wife is pregnant and due in few days and I am working full time so we need her to support and taking care of my wife.

Will the statement again be a problem?
