Thank you for your update. I hope everything speeds up for you guys now. If you don't mind me asking, what was it that you believe gave them the notion that your relationship could be suspect? We are approaching 15 months now and haven't heard anything since SA in Feb. We are a married couple whom have always cohabited, no time apart since 2017 and are wondering what the heydey is going on.

The agent did not give any hint as to why we were red-flagged, but it could be because there is an age gap between the two of us. It could also be that we married 6 months prior to applying. In our application we had given extensive documentary evidence that we'd been together for 4 years prior to that, including living together 2 weeks per month for two years (with both names on the lease, etc.).

Another unusual aspect of our application is that I am retired, so of course I had to provide an explanation of why I had no pay stubs. I suspect that you will get an interview if you have to "provide an explanation on a separate piece of paper" for any part of the application. The interview summons included a demand for a lot of financial documentation.

Our situations are different, of course. You received SA in Feb, we still haven't.

How long did it take to get the CBSA note and did you order it yourself or through representative? I ordered mine as well.
Then what does it say?

ours took 4 months.

I had a chance to talk with one lady last week and she was so rude and like
If u keep calling us this is going to be the reason of your file delays.
We give note to the officer that you bother to call again and again
Honestly i called maybe twice a month
Its been 16 months totall and no news
So sad

They can extend the medical if they choose. Hopefully, they will do that. Ours is 15 months. I assume they will do that for us.

Yes, I am an inland applicant. Same boat. Waiting for eligibility to be started on both PA and Sponsor side.

The IRCC phone agent told me that I need an application number emailed from IRCC to be able to link my OWP paper application (received 9 days ago) to my GCKey account. Did you guys also wait for acknowledgment of receipt of OWP application to link your OWP? How long did it take?

We applied 4 June 2018 (full timeline in signature). After IRCC cancelled an interview in July, we were again summoned to attend a relationship interview on 13 Sept 2019. The interview went smoothly, although we were there for almost 4 hours. At the end, the officer suggested that there were no issues, but of course we have to wait for a formal letter.

Two small updates:

Yesterday, Sep 18, MyCIC dashboard was updated to say "We are reviewing your eligibility" (and it still says that).

Today, Sep 19, ECAS has been updated to say "Decision Made" on both sides (Sponsor & PA).

No details in either system.

Finally got our landing interview. Great news right? Well they scheduled it for next Thursday at 8am in Etobicoke... 4 hours from Sudbury, where we live. But on the email it says if you live in Sudbury and want to reschedule it for that location, please let us know. Why the hell wouldn't they just conveniently schedule in Sudbury in the first place? Looks like we will be waiting some more

I am june 26 2018 applicant. Got opw in oct and then DM on sponser side in feb 2019. But heard nothing after that. No medical request till now. No DM on applicant side. Call cic last 2 in aug but they said to call back in dec if nothing happens till then. In vanouver but the file is transferres to montreal acconding to the agent I talked too. I see many people waiting here but is there any1 with no medical request yet???

Today we received a direct email from our local IRCC office (not via MyCIC) - inviting us to a landing interview on 11 October.

So, I guess we're finally done !

I did not order any notes. The agent did not give any info about which stage is the application stuck. All he said was the appliction is now in montreal office and he cant say anything till the end of nov. He said if we dont receive any update till then, then i can call in dec and then they can dig deep into it.
