Can you tell us when you had this communication ? Other threads in this forum have suggested similar email processes during the pandemic. I wonder if this is no longer available. Are you willing to share the email address they gave, or was it tied to a ticket number ?

Yes, this is an old thread. We're in the same situation - my partner has a NEXUS card based on US citizenship, and we're expecting a brand new Canadian passport any day now. We believe that we should go to an enrollment center to have the new citizenship and passport added to the NEXUS...

We were told, after the ceremony on Mar 21, that we could come to get the certificate, in Montreal (we're in Fredericton) on Mar 30. If we didn't pick it up, it would be mailed out 4-6 weeks after that. So, we're pleasantly surprised to see it only 3 weeks.

No signature required. No "do not bend". The envelope was a bit crumpled in the carrier's bag, no serious damage to the certificate itself.

We received the certificate a few minutes ago ! It was posted from Montreal on Apr 03. (Ceremony was on Mar 21.)

Yes, it arrived the following day. We were hoping for some clarification of when the certificate would actually be mailed. (The ceremony was conducted mostly in French with brief English translations.) The letter said: If you are unable to pick up your certificate on the date and times...

Attended a virtual oath ceremony yesterday, March 21. We're in Fredericton NB, ceremony was in Montreal. After the ceremony we were told that the certificate will be available for pickup on March 30, in Montreal. Those not collected on that day will be mailed, and could take 6 weeks...

Tracker updated this morning. Citizenship Oath ceremony scheduled for Mar 21. There are no live ceremonies east of Winnipeg on that day, so presumably this is a virtual oath.

We've been complete, except for the oath, since Jan 10th. Looking at the spreadsheets, there doesn't appear to be any reliable "average".

For what it's worth, we tried editing this address to reach the corresponding service in Montreal (where we believe our application is sitting). Our message was returned immediately with an "Address not found" error. So, this method does not seem to generalize to all offices.
