if my status as worker expired, should i apply to restore status as visitor or worker?

My status as worker expired and i did apply for an extension before expired and got refused. now i can restore my status but it will only allow me to restore it as visitor, is that right? or am i doing something wrong?

Yes - that's right. You can only restore your status to visitor.

You would need to have an approved LMIA and a job offer to restore your status to worker.

so that might be why when i did the find if you are eligible only gave me the visitor option instead of the restore as worker.

So what if i want my status as worker to be restore and i dont have those, there must be a way, no?

Normally, you don't restore as a "worker". You need to apply for a new work permit, according to the requirements at the time of application. That will convert you from a "visitor" to a "temporary foreign worker".

Post graduate work permit i mean. i apply for the extension before it expired while waiting for my permanent residence invitation but got refused and now need to restore the status.

i guess the first thing is apply as visitor unless i have an approved LMIA and a job offer.

Yes - your only option at this time is to restore to visitor - of course this means you still won't be able to work. You need a job offer and approved LMIA to get a new work permit.

Note that you cannot apply for PR while out of status for most immigration programs. So you will want to submit the restoration application as soon as you can.

Why did you attempt to get an extension for a Post Graduate Work Permit, when you know very well that it's non-extendable?
Were you one of those trying to "game the system" to try and work extra time on implied status, to which you knew that you were not eligible?

If so, IRCC might refuse restoration.

Excuse me, you dont know why and under what circumstances i applied for an extension.

I lost my status as visitor in June 2020, I want to restore my status as worker, I an eligible to do it?
Note
I was holder of post graduate work permit and I lost my status as worker in April 2020, then in Mai 2020 I was holder of status as visitor and I alost it in June 2020.
