I am september 2018 applicant
Application received september
Medical done february
File transferd to LVO 19 march
And then complete silent and then received an email that my background check has been started in between dates
July additional documnets request
And 22 august biometric request
Done biometrics on 12 september
And i dun know wat will be next step and how much it is going to take to receive another update.
If anyone gone through the same process as me ?

and if you dont mind sharing

Oh, I did biometrics on August 16. August 12 pre arrival and request for new pcc.
How do u know they started your background? What additional docs did they request from u?

I am surprized to see that other countries have got PPR and everything is done. I am also an April 2019 applicant but I have seen the google spreadsheet maintained that even people from Jan 2019 have not got the PPR. What is this? it is really annoying and seems discrimination?
Is there anything we can do? it is totally unjust and unfair.

Patience patience and all will come don’t stress when you see how others cases fly, everyone is different... stay positive

Medical February 22,
Biometrics August 16,
Pre arrival August 12
Pcc request August 14 and submitted on August 28
And then that’s all.... waitin.....

Can you please guide about how medical is performed for kids. I have 1 and half year daughter, She has to go through medical examination as well?? if yes then what kind of tests are performed?

yes only physical examination n rps 8140 is the fee for kida below 5

we can all together write an email or sign it and send it to the immigration minister , i have his email address. and he is the one responsible to take any action. May be he can do something. and it will be good if as many applicants can join.

I agree with your suggestion. But how to gather people on one page, there is no one here who has responded to your suggestion. And if I am not wrong, it is bitter truth that Pakistanis are not getting their application processed in time. Until Medical, all things are OK and then after that people are just waiting. I think we should raise our voice, maybe they are unaware of this situation. I am really surprized that all applications for Pakistani spouses have issues, not even a single application has gone to passport request stage.

Just filter passport request in all the sheets from Jan and beyond. You will not see a single entry for any Pakistani spouse. While other countries are perfect. What is this??? And then we are happy to wait while we see people even from October and September 2018 are still waiting.

Its not about pakistani applicants i guess its about LVO

Even if its about LVO, it is a canadian embassy working in london so either they should increase their staff or do something to expedite our files.
