So it’s been 314 days and I am still stuck in IP1, Ralph has not replied for a month and I am clueless as to what to do now ! Anyone else’s here who is still in IP 1 ?
This is my timeline:

From and including: Tuesday, 20 November 2018
To and including: Friday, 13 September 2019

Result: 298 days
It is 298 days from the start date to the end date, end date included.

Or 9 months, 25 days including the end date.

Alternative time units
298 days can be converted to one of these units:

  • 25,747,200 seconds
  • 429,120 minutes
  • 7152 hours
  • 298 days
  • 42 weeks and 4 days
  • 81.64% of a common year (365 days)
Ralph has never responded to my emails. I see ghost updates which translate to nothing to me...

Hello,
AOR - 21 Nov
Medicals Passed was earlier reflecting as December 2018 and last month(August) it is updated to May 2019.
Post which we had no updates, could any one let me know what is actually happening please....!
That, for sure, is a good sign. Seems like they might have extended the medicals for you.

Any one in this position right now...
it’s very confusing... so if the medicals passed date is extended to may 2019 from December 2018 it means That chances of getting PR before the aor date that is November is no more...!

Hey Good people

Going through my GCMS notes, I have seen this: s.16(1)(c) on the second page.

What could this mean? Is there anyone else who could be having this?

Hey guys! AOR of Nov 15. I received a ghost update 2 days ago but nothing after that. My Eligibility was in RR the last time I called. Any idea what to expect?

They will not extend meds or give remed unless they are ready to finalize - so any movement after a long silence is always good

No one is able to judge IRCC on the time for issuing PPR.

Completing 317 days on Sunday. 48 days to celebrate 1 year anniversary.

I still remember when my online account said 48 days to complete 6 months :D

November applicant, been a silent reader and still waiting for ppr too.

This thread has given my so much peace of mind, knowing that there're many other people waiting for no good reasons. But I noticed that people are getting really frustrated, and finally decided to register and share my own story of bad luck xp

FSW - Inland
VO: Sydney, NS (the notorious CB01126)

AOR: Nov 24, 2018
Eligibility: RR for police record (more on this later)
Criminality: in progress
Security: not started
Medical: valid until Jan 2, 2019
Info sharing: complete

I was in Hong Kong until May 2009, just over 6 months in the past 10 years when I applied. The HK police department needed a letter from CIC in order to directly send the record to CIC, unlike most countries that offer a copy of records to individuals.

ADR HK police record: Jan 2, 2019
Received by CIC: Feb 5, 2019

Everything else with eligibility is cleared, but no one has checked this single piece of paper in over 7 months. Also tried all the contact methods but only getting generic replies plus an occasional "don't worry, we received the police record and it's pending an officer review, everything is good". I've been thinking that if I had applied in May without having to mention Hong Kong, I might be getting PR already. I've been studying in Canada and graduating right now, so I had to apply for work permit, though I've been hopeful that I'll get PR before this.

However I'm not going to withdraw my application and reapply as I think it'll unnecessarily complicate the case. I understand the feeling of life being on-hold waiting for the decision, like personally, I'd wish to apply for government positions and really need the PR. But I decide to take a break after graduation, and if I still don't get pr in a month or two, start applying to random jobs and see what I get.
