How are you applying for PR? Through which immigration program? Yes - you should tell the doctor.

Please replay to me
This is a volunteer forum. Please be patient or you have the option to pay someone if you want faster advice.

There are no medical inadmissibility issues for spousal sponsorship. Because Hep C is a communicable disease so your partner will have to sign that they are aware of your condition and you’ll have to register with public health in Canada.

Does it effect my PR?

My question is my medical is in coming week.. will they check hep C??
You have to tell them or it would be representation. Yes liver issues willshow up in your blood tests so you should be upfront and not get caught not being honest.

Dear sir/madam,

i have one query regarding medical fitness for immigration to canada or Australia. one of my close friend is trying for canda or Australia immigration. he is a Medical Professional that is Physiotherapist (Physical therapist)by Profession
he has history of hepatitis c in past that has been treated 3 years back. He has All his medical fitness certificate by doctor and blood test report showing virus not detected or nil , liver function test is completely normal, but his anti HCV is positive as told by Gastroentologist
Anti HCV would remain Positive for whole life. so, he has history of hepatitis c in past with Anti HCV positive but HCV viral load nil and liver function test normal. he is concerned about Applying for PR because his anti hcv is positive and he is medical profession.please reply me Asap.
Thanks for your Reply.

It is always dependent on the person’s infection status. If they received treatment in the acute phases of the infection they have a high chances of being approved. Your friend should prepare to include any records of his past treatment or be proactive and give it to the panel physician.
