A75 exemption - CSQ - Closed Work Permit

Hi,

A bit of advanced question.

I returned to school as an international student after my PGWP expired.I am currently studying in Quebec and will be graduating in December.

Planning to apply through PEQ program to obtain the CSQ. I was advised that the only way to stay and work in Quebec while waiting for the PR is to apply through "A75 exemption". I did a quick reading on the Quebec Immigration website and it says:

"CSQ holders who are eligible for the LMIA exemption can be:

• foreign students who obtain a post-graduation work permit and hold a job offer from a Québec employer"

Since I will not have a PGWP, am I still eligible for this closed work permit if I have a job offer? Thanks in advance.

You need to have a CSQ prior to get a LMIA exempt -closed Work Permit.
