Renewed my original passport after applying for citizenship

Dears,

After I applied for Canadian Citizenship with a passport which is going expire after just under 6 months from the application date, I had to renew my local passport to apply for another visa. I looked online if I should inform CIC about my new passport but I did not find anything useful.

Should I inform CIC about my new passport number and information or should I keep everything as is until they contact me. And if I have to do it, how could I.

Nop, you don't need to.
You can bring it with you during the interview, along with previous passports, but that's about it.
