i tried bro.....not able to upload from mobile....dont have laptop access...Screenshot it and upload it to imgur.com
Hey buddy, congratulations. As with most things CIC do, the PPR email is very confusing. First off they don't explain the visa they are talking about is an eTA, not the permanent residency visa which is obviously something we all need. They should give you a link in the email which asks you to select your country so you can find out if you need an eTA. I'm British though and when I click it the text says 'you may need a visa' which again isn't much help...ANYWAY. If you are sure you are from a visa exempt country like me, here's exactly what I did. I received my COPR visa a week or two ago.Hi guys,
I received the passport request last week.
The email was clear for me to send only a copy of the passport, because I`m from a visa exempt Country Yesterday I received another email asking for the original passport immediately.
Does anyone already facing similar situation?
Thank you,
Yes, thank you so much for the explanation and congrats for you COPR!Hey buddy, congratulations. As with most things CIC do, the PPR email is very confusing. I sent 2 professionally taken photographs, one kept blank and the other with the address of the photographers studio, my name and date of birth and the date the photos were taken. I used the studio listed on the CIC website but they still put sticky labels on all of them which I had to painstakingly remove and write everything on myself.
I also included in the letter the completed Appendix A form and a color photocopy of the information page of my passport (the page with my picture on). Just to make sure everything was correct, I also uploaded the Appendix A and the photocopy of the passport along with a cover letter explaining I'd posted everything in a email to the London visa office and also to CIC using their webform. This way I felt I'd covered all my bases.
Hope this makes sense!
I`m from Brazil. What country are you from? And it's definitely nothing to worry about, just a bit frustrating
