Visiting for the first time

Hey,

My in laws got their visitor visa approved from Hyderabad, India. They will be coming sometime in October end. My question is when they arrive to Canada and go thru immigrations, what documents if any could the officer ask. The purpose of their trip is to be in Canada for the birth of the granddaughter. Is their passport with visa sufficient or should they have any of the documents which they submitted in their application with them?

Normally the immigration officer never asks for any documents. They just ask basic questions like how long will they stay in Canada, who are they visiting and where would they stay.
