I’m from Cameroon( Africa) was shocked my file was sent to Mississauga for further processing!!! Application was received February 13

I posted about this a little while back and just thought I would update regarding entering under Dual Intent.

We were successful at the border (arrived via Vancouver International airport). The only question they asked the PA was "how do you intend to support yourself financially for the next 6 months" and he responded "with my savings" ...the border agent inquired about how much the PA had saved and he said approximately $28,000, then was let through with no other questions and no need to provide proof of funds. Was about a 20 second conversation.

Seems like different border agents will ask different things. We were not asked for any supporting documentation about our application for his PR, didn't need to provide any proof of return flights (which we had NOT booked but were prepared to if they said it was necessary).

Now to wait and hope that the PR comes through in the next 6 months! (We have about 5 months to go until we hit the 12 month mark).

Nice but try to accumulate the money to support yourself for 6months if PA is from a 3rd world .... is another story. Is almost impossible glad for you , but is def not the situation for all.

That is exactly what they are requesting for. Do you have any idea why it was requested for and should it be something to worry about?

the statement of live birth shows the details of the birth . As long as there is a child involved they will need the BC of the Child. Its nothing to worry about as long as you have it. Justscan and submit via webform or which ever method they gave on the request.

No, it was later sent to Dakar VO after sitting in Mississauga for two months. It was transferred to Dakar on June 3rd, still waiting

I saw the timeline spreadsheet 2019 few days ago and i saw pakistani cases with passport recieved and completed but now when i open the link it is not updated and it doesnt shows the same timeline? why?
