Submitted Bio-metrics at VFS Chennai because VFS Bangalore had a one week waiting period.
Going to submit passport at VFS Bangalore. (I am from Bangalore)

No idea. In my application still says background check in progress. Only under final decision it says

• Your application was approved. You need to send us your valid passport to finalize your application. Check your messages below for details.

Medical updated on:29th July
Biometrics correspondence on: 7th August
Till now all it shows is eligibility, background checks and final decision still under process.

Govt offices are working today, I just went to Service Canada and saw CIC open. They are closed on the 2nd of sept for labour day, tomorrow will be the last working day.
