When did you apply?

I came back from Canada where I did my MBA in 2009 and I was a Permanent resident there.I had to renounce my PR before applying for the September intake.Does the fact that I used to be a permanent resident affect my chances?

Is there anyone else who has still been waiting since May?

Thank you for the reply but since it is a PhD program, a deferral isn't possible.

Please help.I can't even ask for a deferral.

I have been waiting for 120 days for my study permit. I did my MBA from Canada in 2009.I was accepted for a PhD program by the university of Manitoba, recently.In 2009 we were in Canada on PR but we came back to India.My visa has now been stuck for 120 days.Can anybody throw some light on this?

I have sent a lot of webforms and emails but like you, I also have received no response.

I have been waiting for 108 days now. It's becoming more and more frustrating as the days pass by. My file is being processed in Delhi and there is no way to contact them. My course will start on 1st september and I can't even get a deferral.
