If you look at the 2018 tracker, PCC was requested for over 95% of cases irrespective of LVO.

I wonder what will happen in my case where I proactively submitted PCC in August (3 months after submitting the application). Got an email from IRCC that the document has been added to the file.

According to tracker, in 2018, most of the in-land processing applications (Ottawa VO) sent Medicals and PCC on same day.

In the current 2019 tracker, there are only 3 applicants who received PCC request from Mississauga office and all 3 of them received PCC request before the IME request

Thanks;

So what's your gut? PCC will be requested after IME (in most cases) or if it hasn't been requested before/along-with IME/Biometric, it most likely won't be needed at all?

Good and interesting observation. :) Let's see what happens with PCC.

I am not trying to make any point here, i just gave some analysis :D PCC is mandatory unless some VO's accidentally forgets :P

Lets hope April and May early applicants who already got ME cleared gets PCC request this week ;)

I got a medical request for my mother. She is here in Canada with the virtue of Supervisa and she took her medical exam this January 2019 for the Supervisa application. Would it be possible for her to use the same medical records and result that she had before to exempt her from getting it for now?

Hi
when faxing a requested document, do you guys add an explanation letter? They have asked for my father's death cetificate. Should I add a cover letter when I fax it or just include CIC's own request letter?
Thanks!

Just send the letter (for additional document request) with it. it has everything you need (UCI, File Number, etc..).

Yes. Just send a request with her previous IME number and any helpful forms to CIC by webform. It might take a week to reach an officer but can save you money.

This was very good observation. I was also intrigued by the fact that Mississauga requested IME before PCC as that was not the case with how they were making request earlier. Lets see what they do for those who already completed bio and IME.

Thank you for the response but I have no clue where to get the IME number? She got her first medical in the Philippines. I hope it is still valid

I have been trying to link my application since last four days. Tried all varients. No luck. Everyday exceeded meximum allowed of 5 attempts.
How do I get hold on to this? I am thinking of calling them. Anyone got contact information and extension code sequence?
Thank you

It is valid for a year. If she was using myCIC, you can find the medical request letter there. Or if she got it by mail and you can find it. You should submit this letter by webform. If you can not find the number or letter, you always can try to send a request (with receipts) by webform. But I'm afraid that you may have to do it again.
