IMM0008 Current residence

Outland Applicant, urgent inquiry here

We have almost all done but I had to redo 2 forms because they were not updated, while redoing IMM008 I noticed I put my current country of residence (Question 10) as Canada, I'm on TRV valid until 2021. However, me and my partner are leaving to Peru today for her birthday, she will come back to Canada in around 3 weeks with some of my documents missing and send the application but I will stay longer there. Should I change my country of residence to Peru since basically I'll be there by the time we send the application?

You’ll only be traveling to Peru. Country of travel is not country of residence. You may cover that in your travel history but not residence unless you have ties to peru such as work/family/business etc

Thank you for your answer! Forgot to mention, I’m from Peru and will be staying there for a few months, still confused as if I should change that or not
