I would like to get some advice on the next step of my application. So, we received a letter and were requested to get additional cohabitation proof and my home country police check on May 23. We submitted everything before the 1 month deadline. And finally on friday (Aug 16), I (the PA) received an inbox letter (on GC Key) saying that I passed the eligibility. Content as below:

"It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence as a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class. Please note that a final decision will not be made until all remaining requirements for becoming a permanent resident have been met. These requirements include medical, security and background checks for you and, if applicable, all of your family members, both in Canada and abroad, even if they are not applying to join you in Canada at this time. You cannot become a permanent resident until you and all your family members have met these requirements."

But on GCkeys, all the status haven't changed. Have anybody experienced the same before? What will be the next stage and anyone know about the timeline from on?

Thank you! Good Luck everybody!
Sounds like you're almost done!
Don't worry about the status on GC Key. It gets updated as soon as you're a PR.

Thank you! My partner received an email today saying that he passed the eligibility test. I logged on GC Key, still nothing changed.

But when i logged in to ecas, it shows Dicision Made. However, when i click Decision Made button, the steps/processes are still indicating 'we need more proof from you'

How come the system is so stupid hahaha

Good day! I'm new here and appreciate your advise/inputs.

My husband is sponsoring me. We first submitted PR+OWP before my visa expires but it was sent back to us due to missing documents. We resent the application but then my visa is already expired. I've read here that PR application will not give me implied status so I'm now currently OUT OF STATUS, how this affect my applications? Will applying for RESTORATION of my visitor's visa help?

BTW, we got AOR: 20th August 2019.

Thank you in advance for your help.

If you resent the application while you are out of status the you do not qualify for OWP. Being out of status does not mean your PR application wont be processed. You can restore your visitor status to have a peace of mind and avoid getting in trouble with CBSA

Hi guys
My interview date is 6 September in Van office. But my husband (sponsor) have lost his PR card and Landing paper. Do immigration officers request to see the sponsor’s original documents as well?
Please help!!

Thank you for your reply. Submitted my application to restore status (for peace of mind :) ) Will call CIC to withdraw my OWP application so I can still refund my payment...Cheers!

Huh!?! just called CIC to withdraw my application for OWP but CSR told me that I don't have to withdraw it. I will just need to pay $200 restoration of Temporary Residence-Worker and send it to the web form and my OWP will be processed.I told him that I already paid $200 restoration of my Visitor's visa and he said it's different...Any thoughts?
