Hi people...
I need a clarification. I got mail for biometrics and medical examination request recently.. In the forms attached in the mail, for gender it is mentioned as Male instead of Female...
How to fix this? Will it create any problem in the process?

Maybe it's a quebec thingin the sponsor approval letter I received there was no such line saying that "A confirmation letter will be sent to you once the application is sent to the visa office, informing you of the visa office selected"
Anyone on the same boat? where did you go for biometrics?Anyone here are in similar situation?
I am the sponsor, My wife is the PA.
PA moved from US to Canada after sponsorship application file submission. Now we are not sure if we need to submit biometrics since she is in Canada right now. but we indeed received the request letter, indicating she need to leave the country to schedule appointment at USCIS in US to collect biometrics for IRCC. Anyone on the same boat here? Wife had H1B but visa expired now she is getting a visitor visa to the US appointment in 3 weeks and we might have to ask for extension for biometrics. would the biometrics extension delay our application?
besides US, anywhere else we could do the biometrics which could get it done sooner than later?
Thank you so much

Is the PA currently in Canada or India? so for India nationals, they dont transfer files to India local Visa office any more? I thought only for PA already in Canada they transfer to Mississauga.Timeline is in my signature below the quote:

Mississauga tends to be the destination for "easy" applications. Like, they dont end up needing additional info or an interview, and they tend to process quickly. It's not just Indian nationals, anyone can get transferred to CPCM. And sometimes it's not even the final destination, some folks have the applications transferred to the PA's home country (or the nearest VAC to it) after Mississauga. Is the PA currently in Canada or India? so for India nationals, they dont transfer files to India local Visa office any more? They do transfer to Local VO but as another user said, easier and straightforward applications can be handled here within Canada. Is the PA currently in Canada or India? so for India nationals, they dont transfer files to India local Visa office any more? Not yet. Waiting for that.Thank you. You have status in ECAS - decision made?
It seems to me that it doesn't necessarily have to do with simplicity but rather, where the PA is from. There's at least a very strong correlation. They do transfer to Local VO but as another user said, easier and straightforward applications can be handled here within Canada.
Considering that (at least on this forum) there is already a high concentration of applicants from India to begin with, it does make some sense that that is the majority group sent to Mississauga. But according to the tracker, applications from the Phillipines, China, UAE, the Netherlands, Australia, the US, all kinds of countries get sent to Mississauga. I'm not sure we'll ever know why exactly. Could be that the VO's in India are backed up so they process the easy ones in Canada to ease the burden. It seems to me that it doesn't necessarily have to do with simplicity but rather, where the PA is from. There is no rule where the files goes. As far as I have observed, they do send files to New Delhi (India)VO sometimes. Is the PA currently in Canada or India? so for India nationals, they dont transfer files to India local Visa office any more? I dont think its where the PA is from. Im from Philippines and my file got transferred to CPCM.It seems to me that it doesn't necessarily have to do with simplicity but rather, where the PA is from. There's at least a very strong correlation.
