Anyone's application in London visa office?
I am applicant of 19th September 2018.
Passed bio metrics and medical check 8 months ago.
I have received a request to send some additional documents in 20th July 2019 and we sent it... till now there is no movement anyone knows whats next and how long should I wait to receive a passport request email?
Same here application received 24th of Sep 2018 and last communication was from London Visa office on 11th of March 2019 stating that they have received and started the process of my application, since then I haven't heard anything and I can not link my application to my CIC account since I have a representative so let's just wait and hope for the best something should come next month as it will be 12 months.
Let's keep faith and wait for the good news to come
Yeah, The visa office asked me to send them some small additional information through email exactly a month ago (july 2019) since that day no movement again i really hope all of us may hear some good news soon.Hi Mhmass,

Well I think that's good news since it means that they have actually started to actively process your application and that's why they have asked for additional docs but for me it's radio silence which means that I'm in the security screening or they did not start to process my application as I came to know from the forum here. Principal applicant, a person who is being sponsored to Canada. And may I ask what kind of additional documents they asked u to provide?pa??? what does it mean
Why do u think u r in security screening? Your lawyer don’t say anything about it? As soon as u meet 12 months mark, you can connect to MP. Thanks for the reply in fact as most of the cases I've seen here on the forum the background check is taking between 1 to 2 months but in case it's since March 2019 now so as per the feedback from others they told me that it might be in SS and for my lawyer he can not get any additional info as it only shows that my background check is still under process in his mycic account. Also most of the guys who applied in my month Sep 2018 already received the per-arrival services email in my case nothing yet so I assumed I'm under SS for that factors?
For the GCMS I already applied for it this month and waiting for any feedback but do you know if they send it by email or post to the mentioned postal address?
They should come to your email. Well, probably since u r about 12 months mark, you can also connect with MP. Sometimes when mp send inquire about the file, visa office starts moving. I don’t know if your assumptions about ss is right. What additional documents they request from u?Hi Lion.com,

Background check for your country can take some time, so when you hit 12 months just connect member of parliament in Canada to find out where you stand. ( sponsor can do it) Another thing what you can do now is to order your gcms notes.PA: from Afghanistan
