Wait, so even after being transferred to Mexico VO - your file has to be transferred to another VO in another country. I hope the POS VO can work on processing your application faster than Mexico’s.
Havana closed in May, all files were transferred to mexico which delayed the files. That created an aor3 and interview files go to POS creating an AOR4. This has created the files to be going into 16 months and not many issued visas.

The even weirder part - my husband's police record did not expire until October 2019 o_O

When did you first apply? I am a July 2018 applicant.. stilllllllllllllll waiting haha
I noticed they requested additional documents from you. Was that the new schedule A or something else?

Ahhh! Just checked ECAS and it says “we started processing... on August 23rd” is this AOR2? Is Mexico finally moving along with December applications? :D
I believe it is indeed AOR2. I am also a December applicant and had the update on ECAS to processing on 13 August. Hoping it keeps moving.

I guess I will be one of those 15plus. As we just received a letter stating our file has been transferred to POS and an interview is required. No date or time given yet. My husband has to fly there for the interview. We almost at 13 months!smh

Has anyone else’s file been transferred to POS VO for an interview? If so what was the interview like?

PA is from Mexico, but even though we're lucky that she can be in Canada "visiting" me temporarily, we just want to get it over with

How about for you, where is PA from?
He’s from El Salvador but living in the US undocumented so hopefully that doesn’t cause any more delays

I don’t mind - they might even tell you the truth if you speak Spanish.

BTW be glad your spouse isn’t Cuban - typical passport turn-around from North America involves $400 and 6 months.
