August 2019 TRV Timeline

Hey guys, so I applied for my parents from Pakistan on paper on 23/Aug

Linked my application to GC account on the same day and received UCI number

The status on the application has been changed to the following

Application status
We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.

Review of eligibility - Review of eligibility

• We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

• We do not need additional documents.

Interview - Interview

• You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.

Biometrics - Biometrics

• We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.

Background check - Background check

• We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Final decision - Final decision

• Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Now the REVIEW OF ELIGIBILITY status changed from "we will inform you when we start reviewing" to "we are reviewing your eligibility requirements"

But I didn't receive any email or message in cic account regarding that. Is that how it works?

Anyone else who applied for TRV in August please share your recent status of application. Thanks

Applied in Canada and received passport request.

Applied On 20th August, both biometric and paper filing done on tge same day.
Current status: File is being processed at IRCC new delhi.

My mother applied on the same date from lahore vac and her online status is same as yours right now. No response yet after the same online profile!

@Dikshitchadda did you get the response? How many days did they take to send the decision? Actually I applied on September 16 and on paper at Chd visa office but it’s being processed at New Delhi Visa office

My gckey shows “we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements”
Whereas earlier it was “your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility”.

Guys does this mean that I should expect a decision soon?

• Online Application submitted: August 17, 2019
• Biometric Collection Letter: August 18, 2019
• Biometric Provided: August 30, 2019
• Biometric Validity Letter: September 4, 2019
• Visa Approval and Passport Request: September 5, 2019
• Passport Submitted at VAC: September 11, 2019
• Application received in IRCC office: September 13, 2019
• Processed decision envelope sent from IRCC office: September 16, 2019
• Passport couriered to home address by VAC: September 16, 2019
• Passport with Visa received: September 18, 2019

I saw it same day when I got the biometric validity letter
