Thanks, I really hope our file is also being worked on before the file transfer. By the way, may I ask how long it took you to receive the file transfer?

Or you could always apply for GCMS Notes although they seem to be taking over a month to receive from the latest comments. At least you would receive info on what the hold up was with your file.
Ya. I actually applied for them about 2 weeks ago. I want to go on vacation but don't want to be called for an interview while already on vacation.

Thats right you cannot do that, but PA will surely be able ti link the application to her GCKey account.
not true i was able to link my wife's to my account , she's the PA and i'm her sponsor and Representative , any representative whether paid or unpaid should be able to link it to their account , also any letters coming from them it comes to me with my name on the letter and my address as acting on her behalf , so official you should be able to if you are her representative , also your wife (PA) can link it to her account or to any GC key account you create for here , how can they know if you linked it or here linked it unless they are tracking the ip address to determine which country the person trying to link the account from which i don't think they will bother .

I was able to link my husband's (PA) application to my GCKEY account even though I am not his representative.

I'm happy for you both and glad it worked for you. It doesn't work for everyone though and I was told by IRCC I couldn't link them. Trust me I've tried! Our application is almost 8 months in processing now, and in the beginning I tried every day for the five allowed attempts. My husband also tried to link it to his account but that didn't work either. Finally it just got too frustrating so I gave up.

The only reason I care now is that I've heard nothing since May 31st and would like some info as to what they are doing on the file. I plan to send for GCMS notes at the 8 month mark ... Sept. 4th. Unfortunately, they take a long time to arrive as well!

My PA spouse just received Pre-arrival service letter this morning but hasn't done Bio metrics yet. Is this normal?
