See, that's the thing. I feel a bit awkward contacting a mp from a jurisdiction where we haven't even moved to yet (and no former ties with as of yet) But trust me, if this wait is going to drag on for a longer time, I will use all resources available to me.

Guess (and hoping) you are right that it might just be random why it's taking longer for me. I guess that after 12 months, one starts to come up with all kinds of theories

I wish you can be reunited with your beloved one(s) soon! I do understand the fortunate situation we are in, that we are at least living together...

Nothing we can do... Definitely this immigration process will teach us some patience! At the end, you guys finally will move back to Canada. Meanwhile life is here and right now... try to relax and enjoy it even in rain with your family!

I don’t think being out of Canada will be an issue at all. If she wants to connect MP, she has all the rights! as I said, next months sometime second part of September hope to hear good news on your side!

Here’s my timeline:

AR june 13 2018
AOR aug 17 2018
MR may 2 2019
MP may 22 2019
FT and ADR (fbi clearance) may 27 2019
Submitted ADR june 6 2019
Pre arrival june 19 2019

No update since pre arrival. LVO is Manila. My gckey still says it hasn’t started my background check.

I’m already anxious and have no idea when I can possibly receive PPR.

I sent an email to MVO few days ago, requesting any information about my application.
They replied the following day. They said my application is now queued for the review of a migration officer.

What are the messages in your GCKey?

ours say:

Background check

• We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Review of eligibility

• We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

Final decision

• Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

We had these messages for a long time, we did really pay attention to them but I think we had these messages since the beginning when we linked the application. What does your Background check say? I've heard these messages don't really have any significance, some officers don't even update them and you get surprised with a PPR hehehehe. Who knows is their system is 100% accurate, I doubt it.

It was like that above mentioned even though they are still waiting for my repeat xray. And after three days of my xray results I have received PA letter. .
